My Story

Hi! I'm Haylee!

I'm a high school student, dancer, entrepreneur, author, and the founder of Camp Haylee.

Camp Haylee started back in 2021 and over the years, Camp Haylee has grown into a place where girls can have fun, make friends, build confidence, and create lasting memories. I love planning activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, kindness, and laughter. Some of my favorite camp activities include dance, crafts, baking, and games.

The experience of building Camp Haylee inspired me to write my first book, "The 4-Hour Summer Camp Business: How One Teen Turned a Pink Laptop Dream Into a Successful Summer Business." In the book, I share how I started Camp Haylee, the lessons I learned along the way, and how other kids and teens can turn their own ideas into reality. Outside of camp, I am involved in dance, community service, leadership programs, and teaching financial literacy to young people. I am also the founder of the Invested in the Future Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students develop financial confidence, life skills and scholarship opportunities. I also am the big sister to 2 little brothers, a swiftie, and a lover of frozen yogurt. :) 

My favorite part of Camp Haylee is watching campers arrive nervous on the first day and leave feeling confident, happy, and excited to come back. I believe every child has unique talents and gifts, and I love creating an environment where they feel encouraged to be themselves.
